Do you ever feel like you’re doing all the right things in life, but you’re still not getting ahead? You’re working so hard, you’re implementing all the right strategies, and you’re just not seeing the results you want.
You may ask yourself, “What am I doing wrong?”
You may think, “If I’m better, or try harder, maybe then I’ll finally break through.”
Something is off. At HeartCore Business, we know that’s it’s almost impossible to find true success unless (and until) you get aligned spiritually, whatever that may mean to you.
And consider this: The people who don’t become spiritually-aligned, end up in a really bad place at the top. They may manipulate their way into “success,” but these are the people who make a lot of money, but always feel stressed and exhausted and overwhelmed … and anxious about running out of that money.
So here are three things you need to do to achieve a breakthrough that leads to the kind of success you can feel great about…
1. Operate from generousity. Ditch the scarcity.
So many of us work so hard in our businesses. We’re having conversations in our heads or with our friends or spouses like, “My business is exhausting me,” or, “I need to work my whole business around the vacation I’m going to take,” or, “Someone else needs something from me.”
When we have these conversations, we’re operating from a space of scarcity.
There’s not enough time, energy, whatever, to go around. When you can stop operating from that place, then you know you’ve broken through.
If you want to experience an explosion (not just mini breakthroughs), then you must learn to operate from generosity all the time—even when it’s not convenient.
Living from generosity is an exercise in faith (whether it’s your faith in God or Source or the universe). When you’re truly faithful that there will always be enough, that you’ll always be provided for, then you’re operating at a higher frequency.
2. Track, so nothing grows without measurement.
If you want anything to grow, you’ve got to place your attention on it. For example, if you want to grow your bank account, start tracking your spending. But isn’t just about money. It’s a good idea to track your goals and aspirations, too.
So how do you track? Here’s an exercise to get you started.
Ask yourself, “Where am I going?” It doesn’t have to be a big, pressure-filled question, like where are you going overall. It could just be, where are you going today?
What, specifically will determine whether the day has been a good day, or a success? Be specific. What are the deliverables?
Write that down, and put it somewhere you can see it. Because the day’s going to try to get away from you. But if you keep looking at that thing you’ve defined as progress, or success, ten you’re much more likely to achieve it.
You see, the human spirit needs progress. And if you can identify what progress means to you, and track that progress, then you’re focusing on it—and it grows.
3. Tithe. Your heart is where your treasure is.
The Bible says your heart is where your treasure is. Even if you’re not religious, this is scripture, right?
If you’re not spending money on growing your business, going to great events, and/or staff for your company, then stop complaining that you’re not supported!
If you’re spending money on lattes when you can’t pay for a virtual assistant, then stop doing that.
Tithing means you are giving money sacrificially, like it was never yours. And it often feels like a stretch. Yes, something has to give. And what happens when you do this is that you open up your faith. You’re actually surrendering. When this happens, you make more money than you can ever spend. Because the act of freedom starts here.
